10) Asshole

The first hand is used to determine everyone’s rank during the following hands. Deal out all the cards. The person to the left of the dealer starts off. The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards. When starting you can lay down any card or cards with the same face value. The person following you must lay down a card of equal or greater value. They must also use the same amount of cards as you did. If you lay down two 9’s then they would have to lay down two of something equal or greater. If the player lays down the same card as the previous player then the next player is skipped and must drink. Also if you can’t play any of your cards than you must skip and drink. Cards are cleared if everyone skips or a two is played.

Play continues like this until all the cards have been played. After the first hand is when the fun really begins. There is a ranking system which is as follows: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Asshole. Whoever goes out first becomes the new President for the next game, the second person becomes the Vice-President, etc… For the following rounds, anyone who ranks higher then you can tell you to drink whenever they want to.

Special Rules:
The Asshole must always deal and clear the cards. Also the Asshole must give the two best cards in their hand to the President. The President gives the two worst cards in their hand to the Asshole. If the President remains President for three consecutive rounds they can create special rules, such as the word “drink” cannot be used. If these rules are broken then the offender must drink.

9) Quarters

Quarters can be played with any number of players. Play is best with 3-6 players. Competitors sit around a table, hard wood works best but you might need to experiment. To decide who will go first, spin the quarter. When it stops, it will be pointing at theperson that starts. I use Washington’s nose or the Eagle’s beak. Once established, the game begins.

The shooter tries to bounce a quarter off the table and into a glass. If the quarter goes into the glass, the shooter chooses a person at the table to consume. The amount or size of the drink is debatable. This should be decided before the game starts. The shooter’s turn is over when he/she does not make the quarter in the cup. Play then proceeds the next shooter.

To make things more exciting, rules are developed by the shooters only after making three quarters into the glass in a row. If any rules are broken, the guilty party must consume.

8) Circle of Death

Circle of death is played with a deck of cards. Face down spread in a circle around a drink(Usually a Beer). Both numbers and color have meaning with digit cards not face cards. Red 2,3,5,7,8 card flipper drinks for that many seconds. Black 2,3,5,7,8 card flipper gets to give out seconds to drink to whomever they choose. (ex. Black 5, give 5 people 1 second each or 1 person 5 seconds) 4’s are whores(all women drink 4 seconds) 6’s are dicks(all men drink 6 seconds). 9 is rymes. card flipper chooses a word and all must ryme with that word. first to screw up drinks nine seconds. (continues till one screws up) 10’s are catagorys. card flipper picks a catagory (ex. beers) card flipper starts by naming a beer (ex. Becks) next person chooses another beer and no repeats. whoever screws up first drinks for ten seconds. Jacks are rules. Card flipper makes up a rule to be done till the next jack is chosen(ex right handed people must drink with left, and left handed with right. gets hard after some drinks)any rule you choose. be creative. screw up ten seconds. Queen is question master. The question master asks questions to anyone and that person must answer with a question till next queen is choosen. Screw up drinks 10 sec. Kings involves the beer or drink in the middle. First second third king picked card goes under the beer, person picking fourth kings must either chug the beer or have to do what ever the group comes up with. (ex funny dance, strip, whatever) and ace is waterfall It goes in order first being the one who picked the card and so on. The first person drinks as much beer as they can continuously and the 2nd person can’t stop until they stop, the 3rd person can’t stop until the 2nd person and so on. If you have big drinkers at the beginning, it is really difficult for those at the end. once game is over everyone is very very drunk. hence the name circle of death!!

7) Chandeliers

Need: 7 cups, 1 pong ball, small table, many cases of beer, 6-8 people

How to play: Put one cup in the middle of the table and fill it with a full beer. Now arrange the other 6 cups around the center cup so they are all touching. Fill each of these with a half beer. Each person playing will have their own designated cup (excluding the center cup). The game starts with one person bouncing the pong ball into someones cup. If they make it into your cup you have to chug, your pin gets refilled, and you get to shoot. If the person shooting misses, the person to their right gets to shoot. Whoever makes the middle cup has to chug the middle cup. Play stops when someone has to drink and continues when that person finishes their drink. This game never ends, you just keep going till people can no longer drink and others take their place. Additionally, if the ball ever gets stuck on top of the cups, whatever cups the ball is touching have to be drunk by whoever the cups are assigned too.

*If you feel the game is going too slowy, you can impart this rule: If someone makes the middle pin, everyone drinks their pin and the last person to put their pin down has to chug the middle pin.

6) Fuck The Dealer

It is played with a standard deck of cards and a group of people. One person is the dealer (to start) and you proceed aroudn the table with people guessing the top card. A person gets one guess, after which the dealer will say whether the card is higher or lower than the card (Ace is highest card). The person then gets to guess a second time. The person guessing then has to drink the number of seconds between the second guess and the actual face value (so if the guess was 3 and the card was 5, then the person would drink 2 seconds).

However, if the person guesses the card right on the first try, the dealer drinks for 10 seconds. A correct guess on the 2nd try equals a 5 second drink for the dealer.

After each turn, the card is laid out on the table for all to see, stacked in order (all 3’s together, all 5’s together, etc). After three consecutive people have guessed and not gotten the correct answer (on first or second guess) the dealer passes the cards to the right and that person is the new dealer.

Name of the game is because when you get down to the last few cards, whoever is the dealer gets screwed (since everyone can see what few cards are left) and ends up drinking a lot!

5) Civil War

This is a fun game not mentioned, it’s called “Civil War”, I’ve heard it referred to as “Standoff” and “Beer Pods” as well.

You will need:
1 Rectangular Shaped Table
A lot of Beer
12 Plastic Cups
4 Players
A spacious room in which to frollic about.
4 Ping Pong Balls

This game is a lot like Beirut, or what’s commonly known as Beer Pong. You need four players, one on each corner of a rectangular table, faces those on either side of the table, forming teams of two. Water cups for rinsing will be necessary. Each team has two triangles of cups pointing toward the player directly accross from you on the side of the opposing team. Each triangle is owned by the person nearest to it. Teams will start with two balls, one for each player. Players begin on a countdown and try to throw the balls into the targeted cups on the opposite end of the table. If a cup in your triangle is made by an opposing player, you must immediately down the drink before continuing gameplay. When all of the cups in your triangle are made, you are out. The team left with the last man standing wins. This game is very active and fast pace as play does not stop when cups are made. Balls must be gathered by competitors with no boundaries. It is best played in an open space that is spill acceptable. Players cannot shoot before finishing a drink. Once players are elimated they may only gather balls for their teammate, they CANNOT shoot. Players are also to return to their “line” behind the table before shooting. Games may vary by options of drink level, type of drink, length of table, number of balls used, or by number of cups in player designated triangles.

This game can be a ton of fun! Spills and loud noise are common so be prepared for both. It gets really physical sometimes but it’s always loads of fun. Strategy is also important as some players may target an individual team member to create a quick “Power Play” or 2 on 1 advantage. The bouncing rule of two drinks for a bounce shot made may be added to enhance gameplay as well. Some games are won due to the support and ball retrieval technique of elimated players. They can play a big role in the final outcome depending on the method you may create to retrieve balls. The game is a rowdy, fun time that requires some teamwork and agility. Good times, have fun!

3) Power Hour
One of the easiest simple games is also one of the most popular games for drinking. This game is called Power Hour and there really is not any rules for this game EXCEPT you have to take a shot of beer every minute. So get in a group with a bunch of shot glasses and beer. Have a timer and everyone has to drink every minute a shot of beer. Now at first you dont think it's a lot of beer to get you drunk. But I want you to say that maybe 30 minutes into it. You play for 60 minutes. By the end of the hour you usually kill around 6-7 beers. Try it! Its alot of fun.

2) Flip Cup
The second biggest game around the United States is called Flip Cup. This is where you get a team of how many you like and each person has a cup. You split it up into 2 teams... Usually around 5v5 and each person matches up on opposite sides of the table. At one end of the table the players start and drink there cups full of beer and try it flip the cup on its lid once down. Once done drinking you place the cup down on the edge of the table and flip it up gently to make it land on its lid. Once that is done the second person on that team can begin. It is a simply relay race. First team to finish drinking and flipping their cups WIN!

Top 20 Drinking Games.

1) Beer Pong
(Each team has 2 players on each side of a table. Each side will have 10 cups *usually dixie cups*. You fill up the cups halfway with beer. Usually 2 beers covers the entire rack of 10. Your going to need 2 ping pong balls to shoot. Start it off by flipping a coin to see which team shoots first. One player shoots at a time and then the other place on the same team shoots. If you both make it, you get balls back which allows you to shoot again. If you both make it in the same cup that means its 3 cups. If you both miss the other teams turn to shoot. Rules are different everywhere you go. Bounces usually mean 2 cups. If it hits the table in any shape or form and then goes into a cup its 2 cups. The rules for a spinning ball on the lid of the cup. If you see a ball spinning at the top its very each to get it out which allows defense in this game. Guys can finger the ball out of the cup if the ball is spinning and girls can blow. At the end of the game and there is one cup left and your team hits it, the other team has a chance of "rebuttle" which means they can shoot till they miss to try and tie it up. Also another rule in this game, if you shoot make it, then shoot again make it, you have to call out "heating up". Once you make 3 cups in a row you call out "fire" and you get to shoot till you miss. This is the number one drinking game all around the states, college, highschool and everywhere else. Try IT!
